Mine general low-voltage GKD series switchgear is suitable for the power supply system of the central control room, underground parking lot, main ventilation duct electromechanical worm room in non-coal mines and other similar mines. Overview


GKD Low Voltage Switchgear is suitable for the power supply system of the central control room, underground parking lot, main ventilation duct electromechanical worm room in non-coal mines and other similar mines. It is used for receiving, feeding, controlling and protecting power, power distribution, lighting, motors and other electrical equipment and power conversion equipment in the 1140 (660,380) V system. This switchgear is also suitable for ground substations and power supply systems in metallurgy, chemical industry, power and other departments.

Operating Conditions


1. Altitude: ≤ 2000 meters;

2. The environment temperature: upper limit +40℃, lower limit -20℃;

3. The average relative humidity of the surrounding air is not more than 95% (25℃);

4. In a gas or steam environment without damaging insulation;

5. Fixed installation and use.

Technical requirements


  • General Requirements
    • The switchgear shall comply with the provisions of this standard and be manufactured in accordance with the enclosure design and technical documentation approved by a nationally designated inspection body. In addition to fulfilling the technical requirements set forth herein, it shall also conform to the requirements of GB/T 12173-2008.
  • Special Service Conditions
    • Operating conditions that fall outside the prescribed ranges shall be considered special service conditions, and the equipment shall be manufactured in accordance with the agreement made with the user.
  • Enclosure Fabrication and Tolerances
    • The enclosure shall be manufactured in accordance with the specified drawings.
    • The outer casing shall be welded from 2.5 mm high-quality cold-rolled steel plate, and the internal support structure shall be fabricated from 20mm – 330 mm high-quality cold-rolled steel plate.
  • Power-On Operation
    • Perform power-on operation to verify the correctness of the wiring.
  • Cable Entry Device
    • The cable entry device shall have no sharp edges to prevent damage to the cables.
    • Any unused openings on the equipment enclosure for electrical connections or conduit entries shall be sealed with proper sealing components.
  • Fasteners
    • The fastener materials shall be compatible with the enclosure material, and the bolt diameter shall not be less than M6.
  • Protection Rating
    • The protection rating of the switchgear enclosure shall be no less than IP54.
  • Enclosure Impact Test
    • Shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 12173.
