Overview
GKG Medium Voltage Switchgear for mining is suitable for use in coal mines without gas, coal dust explosion hazards and other similar underground industrial production and electricity departments such as non-coal mines. GKG Medium Voltage Switchgear for mining (hereinafter referred to as switchgear ), mainly used in the underground car park of gas and coal dust in the mine, the main air inlet road and the power distribution room of the main air inlet road. As AC 50Hz, voltage 7.2KV or 12KV electrical equipment distribution incoming line, feeder, protection and control of meidum-voltage motors, transformers. Switchgear can also be used in coal mine ground substations and power supply and distribution systems in metallurgy and chemical industries.

Technical requirements
- General Requirements
- The switchgear shall comply with the requirements of this standard and be manufactured in accordance with the enclosure design and technical documentation approved by the designated inspection authority. In addition to meeting these technical specifications, it shall also conform to the GB/T 12173-2008 standard.
- Special Service Conditions
- Operating conditions that fall outside the prescribed ranges shall be considered special service conditions, and the equipment shall be manufactured in accordance with the agreement made with the user.
- Enclosure Material
- The switchgear enclosure is made of 2.5mm thick cold-rolled steel plate.
- The material of the switchgear enclosure shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 8 of GB 3836.1-2010 and shall withstand an impact test with an impact strength of 1kg/7.
- Protection Rating
- The protection capability of the switchgear enclosure shall comply with the provisions of Clause 49 of GB 3836.3-2010. The protection level shall not be lower than IP54.
- Fasteners
- The fasteners of the switchgear shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 9 of GB 3836.1-2010, and the bolt diameter shall not be less than M6.
