Overview
DXGYRQ series medium-voltage soft starter panel is a device for starting medium-voltage AC motors. Its main components are a three-phase reverse parallel thyristor assembly and its electronic control device connected between the power supply and the controlled motor.
DXGYRQ series medium-voltage soft starter panel is composed of multiple thyristors connect-ed in series and parallel. By controlling the trigger angle of the thyristor to control the output voltage, it can meet the different voltage and current requirements during the motor starting process.
During the motor starting process, the series of medium-voltage soft starters switchgear increase the terminal voltage of the motor according to the pre-set starting curve, so that the motor accelerates smoothly, thereby reducing the electrical and mechanical impact of the motor starting on the power grid, motor and connected equipment.
When the motor starts and reaches the normal speed, the bypass vacuum contactor or circuit breaker is turned on, and the motor starting is completed. During the operation of the motor, the soft starter con-tinues to monitor the motor, measure the motor current and voltage in real time, and provide various fault protections.
